Well just when you think you've picked all the stuff for you new rig:

http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/Review/1675 ... 233rz.aspx

Supposedly will be in the country this week. A little pricey though coz you need to buy the monitor plus the nvidia 3D glasses kit. The Samsung monitor is only 22" (lol @ only, considering that was the bees knees not long ago), will cost around $400 and the nvidia kit around $280. So almost $700 all up, when I was looking at picking up a BenQ E2420HD 24.0" which is around $290 and obviously bigger.

Anyone actually seen one of these babies in the wild?

Any thoughts? I want to place all my orders tomorrow.

Of course not Festy. That's my dilema, do I save the money for a rainy day and get a bigger screen, or go with the new tech?

New tech will always be improved rapidly over the next year or two. prices will plummet if it's good and a must have. Hold off is my thinking and get a 26" or 27" monster which will be far more satisfying IMO.

Well to get back on topic, hopefully my monitor and the rest of my goodies will arrive today. Although I can't use the monitor until I move to the new house and have a desk that it fits on, won't fit in my current little computer cupboard.

What screen did u end up getting G?

I just stuffed my 19"Benq today.
Was changing a switch in the bathroom today, so turned off the power at the main (forgot to unplug the pc) but anyhow turning the power-off at the main has broken my screen - weird huh? Must have been on its last legs. I've had it at least 4 years though. Tried plugging the screen in 2 other PCs, differnt cords also -power light goes on but screen is just blank.

Ended up going the BenQ E2420HD. Very happy with it. Only used it for a couple of days though, when I was at Crack's, as it doesn't fit in my computer cupboard. Not long though until I move into new house and unpack it again :D
